Job Description:

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Spec B
Duration: 6 Months contract
Location: Smithfield, PA
Shift: First Shift (7am - 3:30pm)

Description:
Completes initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing shipments. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Processes hazardous goods in accordance with DOT requirements. Validates Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for incoming/outgoing chemical shipments. Maintains inventory of shipping supplies.

    Receiving:
    
    • 
      
    • accepting delivery
      
    • logging into access database
      
    • opening to verify damage and that they got what they ordered
      
    • processing receipts into inventory systems
      
      
      Warehouse:
      
      • 
        
      • pulling parts for kits from inventory
        
      • creating kits
        
      • putting accepted stock into inventory location
        
        
        Qualification:
        Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
