Job Description:
Superior Dairy is looking for an experienced Water Resources
Supervisor to join our team, in Canton, OH. As the Water Resource
Supervisor, you will provide directional supervision, coordination,
and support for a team of skilled technicians in the operation and
maintenance of water treatment and wastewater treatment systems to
support manufacturing processes. ABOUT US: The Michigan Milk
Producers Association (MMPA) - established in 1916 - is a dairy
farmer-owned and operated milk marketing cooperative and dairy
processor. As the 10th largest dairy cooperative in the U.S., MMPA
serves dairy farmers throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and
Indiana, employing approximately 625 people in four states. In
addition to a cheese plant in Indiana called the Middlebury Cheese
Company, and a dairy product plant in Ohio called Superior Dairy,
MMPA operates two SQF Level 3 dairy ingredient plants in Michigan.
Products made at MMPA's plants include fluid milk, cheese,
ultra-filtered milk, ice cream, butter, nonfat dry milk, cream, and

RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor treatment systems and equipment for
operational efficiency and regulatory complianceAdjust water
treatment system processes and equipment utilizing system analysis
and trendsPerform routine water sample collection, preparation, and
analytical laboratory testingMaintain records, data
collection/entry, and complete detailed reportingAdhere to
standardized technical operations and maintenance proceduresManage
time effectively while making calculated decisions across multiple
processesPerform preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvements
for process equipment and facilitiesMaintain high standards of
cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and accountabilitySafely
operate powered equipment to move materials and complete tasks as
neededSchedule department technicians for 24/7 operational coverage
and approve timekeepingProvide structured onboarding and ongoing
updated standardized training for techniciansEnforce policies,
standards, procedures, best practices, and issue corrective
actionsPerform root cause analysis, problem solving, standard loss
analysis, and after action reviewsUnderstand and enforce adherence
with all internal/external regulatory requirementsDrive employee
engagement in programs, initiatives, and projectsRequisition
materials and supplies for operations and maintenanceEnforce safety
standards, investigate accidents or injuries, and prepare reports
of findingsCoordinate operations, projects, and activities between
departmentsAudit internal reporting, documentation, and personnel
performanceAssist in candidate screening process for potential new
hiresSupport, coach, mentor, and develop a dynamic team of skilled
techniciansAssist with development and auditing of standard

other duties, as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEDegree in
Environmental Science or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
preferredCertification/Experience in CI/Efficiency Management, Lean
Manufacturing, or AdministrationPrevious water treatment experience
preferred, but not required; In depth training providedStrong
mechanical aptitude for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting
system equipmentAbility to demonstrate mechanical expertise and
technical knowledge from proven experienceAbility to lift 50 pounds
and work safely in varying climatic conditions, heights, and
confined spacesAbility to effectively manage time, resources, and
competing prioritiesAbility to safely operate powered equipment
following standard training/testing periodAbility to demonstrate
proven leadership skills, experience, conflict resolution, and
crisis managementAbility to create, modify, and utilize various
