Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Central Pennsylvania _x000D x000D_ Located in Altoona, PA - 98m from Pittsburgh._x000D_ Full time, permanent._x000D x000D_ About The Opportunity: _x000D x000D_ A 400-bed regional/tertiary healthcare system located in Altoona, central Pennsylvania, is seeking a pediatric hospitalist to join its Maternal-Child Health Team to provide care to: newborns in its well infant nursery, newborns in its level 2 nursery, and to pediatric patients. _x000D_ The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and training in providing inpatient care to normal newborns, care to newborn patients requiring an intermediate level of care, and be able to perform the procedures required for stabilization. _x000D_ The pediatric hospitalist position is open to current resident and fellows as well as to experienced pediatric hospitalists. _x000D_ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required. _x000D_ The position is open to board eligible and board certified pediatricians / pediatric hospitalists. _x000D_ The position provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package. _x000D x000D_ About the Health System: _x000D x000D_ The group is a 400-bed regional health care provider serving a six-county area in central Pennsylvania.
