  • CCU- Combination ICU position at Weirton Medical Center
  • Common diagnoses include respiratory distress, post-arrest, acute MI, balloon pumps, vents, and vasopressor support.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 3 years of ICU experience
    • Must have balloon pump experience
    • Must be comfortable with Vent management and drip titration
    • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
      • Schedule Information
      • RN shifts are 7 PM to 7 AM
      • Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
      • Holiday Requirements: May be asked to participate in Holiday Rotation
      • Self-scheduling allowed, with a 4-week schedule that staff can adjust
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3
        • Floating Requirements: Travelers can float to any inpatient unit, travelers are first to float
          • Additional Details
          • Charge nurse takes a full patient assignment
          • RT available 24/7, assigned to multiple units
          • Nurses must read and interpret telemetry strips
          • Navy Blue scrub color/dress code
          • 1 Day General Orientation, 1 day with a preceptor
