Nurse Aide Compensation:

The pay for this position is $25 per hour.
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Nurse Aide Highlights:

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
The required availability for this position is all shift float, full time, every other weekend & holidays

Nurse Aide Responsibilities:

Provide direct, non-professional nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients/residents in a hospital infirmary, long-term care unit, or domiciliary care unit.
Assist patients/residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, and mobility.
Support prescribed rehabilitative and recreational activities for patients/residents both individually and in group settings.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient/resident quarters.
Document and report changes in patient/resident conditions to licensed professionals.
Perform duties in accordance with established rules, regulations, and under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
Participate in in-service and formal training to maintain competency in non-professional nursing care procedures.

Nurse Aide Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee OR one (1) year of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients/residents.
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Must be registered and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as having met competency requirements for performing nurse aide work in a Long-Term Care Unit.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a long-term care facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
