      Float Requirements: Float between pediatrics/NICU

      Additional Notes: Competencies should include at a minimum special care NICU including: NG feedings, O2 via CPAP/HHF, IVs, medication administration through pediatric population male/female to 18 yrs.

      Number of Beds: 16 NICU; 14 peds
      
      
    • 
      Patient Ratios: 3-4 to 1
      
      
    • 
      Equipment: CPAP, HHF, IVs/pumps, feeding pumps, NG tubes
      
      
    • 
      EHR: EPIC
      
      
    • 
      Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc.: Neonatal/peds
      
      
    • 
      Preferred Skillset/Experience: CPAP, HHF, IVs/pumps, feeding pumps, NG tubes
      
      
    • 
      Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Preterm, respiratory distress, sepsis, hyperbilirubinemia, NAS, pneumonia, RSV, failure to thrive, hypothermia
      
      
    • 
      Scrub Color: any color for NICU; scrubs provided for peds

        Active Unrestricted PA License
        
        
      • 
        Active BLS-- from the American Heart Association--
        
        
      • 
        NRP, PALS - required
        
        
      • 
        Must have at least 1 - 2 year recent experience

        Must be able to provide at least 1 supervisory references
