  • Job involves passing medications, wound care, foley, IVs, Peg tubes, ostomy care for RNs and LPNs; patient care, feeding, bathing, pericare for CNAs.
  • Common diagnoses include weakness, fractures, COPD exacerbation.

    • Must have 1 year of experience
    • Must have WV Cares prior to start
    • LPNs: Prefer IV certified; will be asked to perform a competency on site.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: RNs/LPNs 7-7, CNAs 6-6
      • Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
      • Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation
      • Travelers are asked to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 1 day of unit/department specific orientation with Educator, 1 day with preceptor
        • 1 charge nurse per shift (12 Hr Shifts)
        • Parking: On site and free; 12 hr day/night rotate, weekends as scheduled

          • # of Beds/Residents: 33 - 11 private; 11 semi-private

          • Ratios: RNs: 1:8-10, LPNs: 1:8-10, CNAs: 1:8-10
          • Interdisciplinary Team includes PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians
          • RT onsite, will do breathing treatments and manage any respiratory equipment.
