Gibson-Thomas Engineering Co., Inc. is a full-service civil engineering firm based in Pennsylvania that provides engineering design and construction inspection services to clients on projects of varying sizes and complexity. We are a growing firm with Pennsylvania offices in Latrobe, Harrisburg (Camp Hill), Indiana, Pittsburgh (Wexford), Fayette (Lemont Furnace), and Washington (Eighty-Four).The RoleWe have an opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager to work primarily out of our Wexford Office. Ideal candidates for this position will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Structural Engineering and PennDOT-related Bridge Design. NBIS experience and a CBSI certificate are positives but not required.Responsibilities

• Project management and development experience.
• Ability to lead a design group to complete tasks and develop said design group's technical capacity.
• Business development activities to grow and enhance our client base.
• Structural analysis, design and detailing for all types of bridges and structures.
• Preparation of construction documents and on-site construction consultation.
• Field inspections and analyses of existing structures.
• Coordination of design work with other disciplines.Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field.
  • Pennsylvania Professional Engineer's license.
  • Working knowledge of current industry design software including MicroStation.
