The Director of Nursing reports directly to the campus Executive Director and will assume twenty-four-hour responsibility and accountability for planning, organizing, developing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong time management, delegation skills, and a desire to develop trusting, caring relationships with both residents and direct reports.Directors of Nursing must: Be licensed as a Registered Nurse, with an unrestricted, active license in the state of PA;Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of related experience, or an Associates degree and 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred;Possess working knowledge of Internet software, Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and EMR programs.
